The One That Had Ibiza Talking,
As anyone who’s been to Ibiza knows, it’s a small island, word gets around fast—so when the legend that is Ronaldo Nazario and his gorgeous supermodel fiancé Celina Locks, decided to marry at their home here on the island, Ibiza heard about it! I was beyond flattered to be invited to capture their incredible celebration. Being part of such an amazing team of creatives working hard to make everything perfect was a beautiful opportunity, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t utterly flattered. And let’s be real—it's Ronaldo & Celina….This wedding was always going to be a bloody good one!
Football Meets Fashion,
From the start, the vibe was electric. This wasn’t just a wedding—it was a stylish reunion of two worlds, Chic started and ended with stunning model Celina, and football icon Ronaldo took care of the vibe with what looked like a Galácticos reunion, the couple brought Brazil to Ibiza in spectacular style. Kaká, Luís Figo, Roberto Carlos, Fabio Cannavaro, Clarence Seedorf and Mitchel Salgado celebrating together, laughing like old times. FIFA boss Gianni Infantino joined in, while the fashion world added its own glamour—Victoria secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, socialite and fashionista Helena Bordon, Spanish actress Marina Ruy Barbosa and the ever-stylish presenta Sabrina Sato lit up the night. Football and fashion became one family, and it was just perfect.
The ceremony at their home in Ibiza was nothing short of breathtaking. Lush floral arrangements transformed the space into a romantic wonderland. Celina, radiant in her Giorgio Armani Privé gown and Tiffany & Co. diamonds, was the epitome of elegance. And the way she and Ronaldo locked eyes at the altar, Ronaldo just beaming, That’s the kind of raw emotion I love capturing—moments that tell a story without words.
Aperol, Flamenco & Vibes
Cocktail hour was an experience in itself. Signature drinks, (Aperol spritz. anyone?) impeccable fashion, and the pulse of flamenco dancers honoring Spanish tradition—it was an absolute feast for the senses. The guests were pure joy to photograph—laughter, spontaneous hugs, and effortless glamour everywhere I turned.
The Tablescape Becomes Art,
The table decor was a showstopper. Sheets of fairy lights cascaded the entirety of the garden, Candles illuminated as far as the eye could see. The napkins, each engraved with the couple’s initials, added a thoughtful
personal touch. Rather than traditional table numbers, each table was marked with a unique crystal, bringing a whimsical touch to the overall design. A sweet table, or rather, sweet corner, offered cakes, upon figs upon truffles, Every detail was so beautifully curated, making it an absolute dream to photograph.
Dinner, A Show & Dancing Till Dawn
This wasn’t just dinner; it was a performance. A live pasta station kept things interactive, with the chef preparing Pasta alla Ruota, black truffle risotto parmigiano inside a Parmesan wheel in front of the guests. The food was a constant flow — each dish, more exciting and delicious than the last,
Celina made her grand entrance in a sleek silk Armani gown, her presence adding even more elegance to the evening. As the couple cut their wedding cake beneath a sky exploding with fireworks, the night truly came alive. The celebration ramped up with music that pulsed through the crowd, and the dance floor became a sea of movement. Laughter, dancing, and twerking carried on well into the early hours.
A Wedding with Ibiza’s Heartbeat,
Ibiza has a way of bringing people together—artists, dreamers, icons & free spirits—all speaking different languages but sharing the same energy. This wedding was a perfect reflection of that spirit. From emotional vows to a dance floor that never slowed down, every moment was filled with so much love, laughter, & a true sense of togetherness. Exactly what a wedding should feel like.
Being chosen to document this incredible day was an honour, and capturing days like this, is why I just love doing what do what I do, and I can only hope to continue photographing couples from all walks of life who come to this incredible island to celebrate their love in such an extraordinary way!
